WhatsApp QR code generator
Scanning opens WhatsApp on your number with the first message already written — so a table tent, a shelf label or a van door starts a conversation instead of asking people to save a contact. The number is checked as you type: a missing country code or a leftover zero is the reason most WhatsApp codes open an empty "number not on WhatsApp" screen.

- How do I write the number?
- Country code first, no plus sign, no zeros, no spaces: an Italian mobile 351 234 5678 becomes 393512345678. Paste it in any shape you like above — spaces, dashes, brackets and a leading + or 00 are cleaned up automatically.
- Why does my code say the number is not on WhatsApp?
- Almost always a local number without the country code, or a trunk zero left after it (39 06… instead of 39 6…). WhatsApp looks up the digits literally, so one extra zero makes it a different number that does not exist.
- Does the pre-filled message get sent automatically?
- No. It appears in the text box and the person still presses send, which is what keeps it inside WhatsApp's rules. Use it to carry context you cannot otherwise see — the table number, the shop, the product on the shelf.
- Can I use a WhatsApp Business number?
- Yes, the link format is identical for WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business and a number connected to the Cloud API. If you run away messages or a greeting message, they trigger normally.
- Should it be static or dynamic?
- Static is fine for a business card. Print at volume, or want to count scans per sign and switch number later without reprinting, and a dynamic code in the editor is the safer choice — the printed image never changes.
