Keep long links scannable
A long URL packs more data into the code, which means more modules, smaller squares and a harder scan from a distance. Shorten the link first, or use a dynamic QR code: it encodes a short Qreator link, so the pattern stays sparse and easy for a phone camera to read even when printed small.
Test before you print
Our pre-flight check warns you when contrast is too low, when the code is too small for the intended scan distance, or when a centre logo covers enough of the pattern to break error correction. Fix those three things and a URL code scans reliably from posters, packaging and screens.

- Is the URL QR code generator really free?

- Can I change the link behind the QR code later?
- Only with a dynamic QR code. A dynamic code contains a short link, so you can edit its destination from your dashboard at any time and the printed artwork stays valid.
- Do URL QR codes expire?
- Static URL codes never expire. Dynamic codes keep resolving for as long as your account is active.
