QR code for a wedding
One code on the invitation can carry the RSVP form, the schedule, the gift registry, directions to the venue and the shared photo album. Because a wedding runs over months, use a dynamic code: the printed invitation stays the same while the destination changes from RSVP to photos after the day.
- Point to an RSVP form, wedding website, registry or photo album
- Dynamic code lets the link change from RSVP to photos after the day
- Elegant styling: custom colours, rounded modules and a centre monogram
- Vector SVG so the code prints crisply on invitations and signage

One code, three phases
Before the wedding the code should open the RSVP form and details page. In the week of the event, point it at the schedule and venue directions. Afterwards, switch it to the shared photo album so table cards and thank-you notes stay useful. A single dynamic code covers all three phases without a second print run.
Printing on invitations
Keep the code at 2–2.5 cm per side on paper stock, and preserve the quiet zone rather than tucking the code under a border. Dark modules on a light card always scan best: foil, metallic inks and dark backgrounds with light modules are the usual cause of a code that fails at the table. Print one proof and scan it under warm indoor light before committing to the run.
Questions, answered
- What should a wedding QR code link to?
- Before the day, the RSVP form or wedding website. On the day, the schedule and directions. Afterwards, the shared photo album — one dynamic code can serve all three in turn.
- Can guests upload photos through a QR code?
- Yes, if the code points to a shared album that accepts uploads, such as a shared cloud folder or a photo-sharing service link. The code simply opens that page.
- Will the code still work years later?
- A static code works as long as the linked page exists. A dynamic code resolves while your account is active, and you can re-point it if the album moves.
