Get a clean profile URL first
Set your custom LinkedIn URL (linkedin.com/in/your-name) before generating: the default URL carries a random suffix that makes the code denser than it needs to be. A short URL means fewer modules, larger squares and a code that still scans when printed at business-card size.
Cards, badges and decks
On a business card keep the code at 2 cm or more per side and leave a clear margin — do not bleed it into the edge. On conference badges, place it low enough to be scanned without asking someone to lean in. On slides, put it on the closing frame at 15% of slide height, which is comfortably scannable from mid-room.

- LinkedIn's code is designed to be scanned inside the LinkedIn app. For print, a standard QR code with your profile URL works from any camera and can be styled to match your brand.
- Can a LinkedIn QR code go on a CV?
- Yes, and it is useful: it gives a recruiter your full profile from a printed page. Place it in the header near your contact details and keep it at least 2 cm per side.
